How People are Reacting to the Chicago Kidnapping and What’s Being Done

Early into 2017, four black teens kidnapped a disabled white man and held him captive for four eight hour for reasons unknown. During this time they kicked him, beat him, stabbed him, forced him to drink toilet water, and forced him to say anti-white and anti-Trump slurs. He was able to escape when a woman next door threatened to call the police. During the time they were at her apartment door, he had a window of time escape. This is one of the most sickening event between black people and white people in recent history. The four kidnappers did this out of anger and stupidity while others are trying to blame others due to their anger with this event.

The perpetrators  did this out of anger for Trump and to white people, while other people were using their hate to create more. One sign of hatred was that they were forcing him to say anti-white and Trump slurs while doing it themselves. Holly Yan, a CNN news writer, wrote, “*(Expletive)  Donald Trump!” one attacker shouted in the video. “(Expletive) white people!” The teens did it out of anger based on how they yell the slurs and how they force the man to say the slurs. They caught the information on a recorded video which lasted for 30 minutes. Holly Yan wrote, “The young woman streaming the abuse on Facebook Live repeatedly turns the camera back to herself.” They wanted people to see that they were angry and that they were satisfied to do this to people. The hatred towards this man made other people mad at a group that was not even involved in the incident. The article shows tweets and an article that says they were apart of the BLM. Chris Riotta, a news writer for the website ibtimes wrote, “Headlines across some sites read along the lines of ‘Black Lives Matters Supporters Torture Trump Voter On Live Video,’ as well as videos uploaded by YouTube channels like ‘MAGA [Make America Great Again] Feed’ purporting ‘Black Lives Matter’ supporters kidnap and torture white special needs Trump supporter.” They let anger engross them over something that they didn’t like happen: Donald Trump becoming president and the other people tried to push their anger onto someone else.

The assailants let their stupidity get the best of them, and their senses. Back to the 30 minute video on facebook live video, a nydailynews writer, Shaun King wrote, “beat him, humiliated him, cut his hair, and yelled ‘(Expletive) Donald Trump’ and ‘(Expletive)   white people’ while filming it for the world to see.”  They were dim-witted enough to make a live video on a facebook live. One of the teens stole a vehicle to do this crime. As stated by the same article on “Hill also faces charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.” They did this, just to get their anger out on someone white man. They already had a vehicle and they stole one for this event. Even the police are trying to make them look like they did something stupid and try to dis it for a hate crime as stated by Jessica McBride, a writer for  “That certainly will be part of whether or not a hate crime – whether we seek a hate crime and determine whether or not this is sincere or just stupid ranting and raving.” The police are even saying they did something stupid but are using it as an excuse for this hate crime. people do stupid things but these teens did something that was one of the stupidest things that they can do but police are using the stupid excuse to try to cover them as much as they can. Due to this hate crime other are blaming people who are not even a part of this event.170104201022-chicago-man-beaten-facebook-live-police-presser-bts-00001410-full-169

People are taking their anger on this event on people or former members of the BLM. Tasneem Nashrulla, a buzzfeed writer, wrote about how people are calling the BLM a terrorist group and how they like to hurt white people. “Mike Cernovich, a vocal alt-right member, wrote an article referring to the four suspects as “Black Lives Matter supporters,” without offering any evidence of their affiliation with the movement.” People started to call the BLM a terrorist group after the man posted the article about the kidnapping and how the four teens were apart of the BLM without any evidence. On the article, she posted the main BLM facebook account that had a post for everyone saying that they were not involved and that they feel sorry for the teen. “And Black Lives Matter Chicago issued a statement on its Facebook page — shared by the main Black Lives Matter account — saying it “is absolutely perplexing and twisted that people are associating this atrocity with this organization and movement.” The main Facebook account of the BLM posted a 5 paragraph post saying they didn’t want this to happen and this is not apart of their movement. The BLM website gives a brief description on what their movement is for and how they accomplish it. A quote from the website says “When we say Black Lives Matter, we are broadening the conversation around state violence to include all of the ways in which Black people are intentionally left powerless at the hands of the state.  We are talking about the ways in which Black lives are deprived of our basic human rights and dignity. On their website gives a description on how try to do their protests in a non-violent way. People are blaming the BLM without any evidence, while the BLM feels sorry for the teen and does not portacon violence.

They let their stupidity get the best of them by stealing a vehicle, kidnapping a disabled white teen, and recording it live on while people are being stupid themselfs in blaming the BLM. Their anger and others anger is what led to this event, their hatred for Trump and whites made them do this, this is feeding them their “Satisfaction,” for hatred, people’s hatred towards them is hurting others like the BLM. People blaming the BLM have no proof that they did it, even when the BLM main Facebook account sent a five paragraph post saying that they thought this event was sickening and that they feel sorry for the teen. Do you think the teens were former BLM members? If so what evidence do you have for it?
